I'm going to be deleting this RP community at the end of April. I've enjoyed playing with all of you, but have found traditional RP not to my taste. I'm more of a writer than a talker I guess. I really appreciate all the time and effort you all made in playing on these comms. If anyone would like to take over all management of them, let me know and I'll transfer them to you instead of deleting them.

Zatanna Zatara grinned wildly as she received applause on the stage. She had opened up a new theatre across from the magic school and was using it to showcase her talent as a stage magician, something she desperately needed to do. With all the crap in her life, she needed something normal, and for Zatanna, this was as normal as normal could be.

Bowing down to the crowd and bidding them good night, Zatanna uttered a small spell and zapped herself near to Vices. Once there, she bid her stage clothes to transform into something more suited for a nightclub, and entered the place, heading straight for the bar where she ordered a bottle of champagne and seated herself at the bar, idly waiting for someone interesting to stop by.

It was late and she felt like shit, in truth she wanted nothing more than to climb into her bed and sleep for a week. She didn't say anything the whole ride back in Snakes car, and she knew he felt as bad as she did. 'You know I think you are right,' she said softly as she looked over towards him, 'You should never hide anything from anyone when it comes to feelings, you never know when you will never see them again.' She played with the edge of her coat, 'I'm going to send him and Owl and let him know that I have loved him for years, even if he doesn't feel the same at least he will know.'

She turned to look back out of the window, 'He's my best friend, he deserves to know.'

Snake walked up to the door and unlocked it. It all felt strange. It was like he was coming home but this wasn't home. At least the day hadn't been a failure like he thought it would be. What Snake needed was to really go home, sleep in his own bed next to his girl, walk the streets a little with nothing to do but there were too many uncompleted tasks for that to happen anytime in the near future. He sighed and walked in looking around cautiously. Paranoia was at a fevered pitch now that things started to make sense. Deep inside he liked it before he knew wat was happening. Ignorance is always bliss but it's sadly short lived.

A couple days later Taryn slipped out the front door of her apartment building. The night air was a tad cooler than usual as the wind blew off the bay. She pulled up the collar of her knee-length leather coat, her long blonde hair billowing around her in the strong breeze. She was dressed comfortably tonight in dark denim designer jeans, a black botton-front blouse and her heeled boots. Taryn had spent the last couple days going around to the different night clubs partying with the locals, and tonight she wanted a break.

She walked down a few blocks until she passed by the Lost Horizons bookstore. The smell of coffee and books wafted out as a young couple came out armed with their trusty lattes. Taking her hands out of her coat pockets she tugged on the door handle and stepped inside. It was busy for a Saturday night but she managed to score a small table near the front window. She ordered a caramel latte, grabbed a local newspaper and sat down. She could have sworn she saw the woman behind the counter give her a glare, but she shrugged it off.

She flipped through a the first couple of pages but stopped on an article on the third page. It was about grusome deaths at the tv cable station. Taryn frowned as she read the article. Apparent suicides. Both mutilated themselves horribly then one shot himself in the head and the other had a heart attack before succumbing to his wounds. Wounds were self-inflicted so authorities aren't suspecting foulplay, though family of the deceased are in shock because of the good mental health of the victims. It's a little too coincidental that two people mutilated themselves in the exact same way on the exact same night, she thought to herself. It just doesn't add up.

She crossed her slender legs and took a mock sip of her latte.

Snake left Aggie to wait for Rayanne to get back. Seeing the jeep gone he knew she probably needed to get out. A week or two stuck in a house and he would have killed someone that he understood. arriving at the mage school he sat across the street staring at it. His memories of that place were bad, Eli throwing him against the wall for one. Now he was here to help that woman and the irony was uncomfortably thick. Getting out of his humvee he walked over to the place as calmly as he could. Unsure of whether to knock or not he pushed the door open and stepped into the lobby looking for someone who might help and not kill him on sight.

She just couldn't take that house any more, it had been over a week since she had felt the sun on her face or the wind in her hair and she was getting restless, there was that itching under her skin that told her she needed to go out for a run before she changed without the control, not that she was sure she had any any more.

Slipping off the necklace Apollyon had given her she laid it on the bed, she didn't want it to break not after last time.

Changing into something more suitable she headed down the stairs and went into the living room to grab her keys and the sight that met her filled her with shock. Averting her eyes she grabbed her keys and headed out of the living room and out of the house.

She sat in that jeep for so long just staring at the wheel as envy twisted and turned inside her. With a shaking hand she brushed away the tear that fell down her cheek and started the engine pulling away from the curb and heading off down the street. She needed to get away, she needed to run...part of her needed to hunt.

They took Snake down into the kitchen and looked at him, 'Right, we need to get you there. Firstly you need to die instead of going where you usually do we will capture you and take you down into the deep below.' Leah bit her lip, 'Apollyon will stay here and look after Rayanne and as always will know that your body is safe.'

Zigor leaned back against the counter, 'We are ready when ever you are brother.'

Snake had been half crazy in Greece. His better half had been restless and at times in full blown rage. Snake had spent sometime at night alone trying to calm the beast. Sometimes it worked and others it didn't. Now that he was back there was an anxious urgency to his trip to see Rayanne. He had seen the note from Mac and it seemed a little more clear headed. Snake of anyone understood what it meant to need to move on after a bad run of things. He headed to Rayanne's house nervous but sure that everything was alright.

He adjusted the gift under his arm and knocked loudly waiting for someone to answer.

She opened her eyes only to be blinded by the dim light in the room, every part of her body hurt but none deeper than her heart. Trying to move she found her hands bound to her bed, and the more she tried to move, the more pain ripped through her body. The silk ties cut into the wounds on her wrists and as she tried to look up pain shot through her from the wound on her neck.

It all came flooding back once more.

Killing those people.
Getting shot.
Finding her mother dead.
The answerphone message.
The bottles of pills she couldn't open.
Smashing the mirror.
Snapping the necklace from Apollyon.
Throwing it across the room.
The broken mirror in her hand.
Cutting her neck.
Blacking out.

Waking up in her room.
Neck bandaged.
Hands cleaned of blood.
Pj's changed.
Down in the kitchen.
A knife from the draw.
Deep cuts in her wrists.
Blacking out.

Waking up here and now.

She looked up at the bindings on her wrists, if she just morphed her nails to claws she could cut through the silk. She felt a hand on her stomach and she looked over just in time to see herself watching her and smiling, but it wasn't her, it was someone...else. She breathed out softly, just one word before she blacked out once more, 'Apollyon.'
